Wasted money

During a recent county commissioner court meeting the court voted 4-1 to stay in the old courthouse instead of moving to the new one. Personally I find this appalling. The new courthouse has become a major part of what defines Rockwall. Why are we not using it for everything possible? Commissioners Magnus and Bailey said it was expenses and that moving to the new courthouse would make them less accessible to the voting public. That makes no sense to me since the historic courthouse lacks decent parking and his located off the beating path where as the new courthouse is right on I-30. There is no reason we shouldn't be using this new building.
